Goods Return and Exchange Policy
Yamaguchi-Europe acts within the limits of the Russian Federation legislation. Goods/money relationship between the buyer and the seller are governed by the RF Civil Code (hereinafter the RF CC) and the RF Law "On Protection of Consumers' Rights" (hereinafter the "LoPCR").
We scrutinize each case related to sale of defective goods and stand for early solution of encountered problems in your favor.
Each sale of defective goods requires time for its solution, so you are kindly asked to bear with our work.
Rules for the return of adequate quality goods (new, serviceable)
Please note that our goods – household appliances and electronics – are technically sophisticated goods which under the legislation of the Russian Federation are nonreturnable nor exchangeable within 14 days, assuming their adequate quality (Article 25 of RF Law "On Protection of Consumers' Rights" No. dated 07.02.1992).
A retail buyer of Yamaguchi-Europe may within two working days return goods of adequate quality while maintaining its consumer properties and marketable condition if the goods have not been in use, provided that the original package and a complete set is preserved. In other words, if we can sell your goods as a new one to other buyer without infringing on his/her rights.
At that, the buyer shall arrange and pay for delivery of the goods to our warehouse.
The above rule applies only to individuals who bought goods in one of outlets owned by Yamaguchi-Europe. For goods purchased through outlets of dealers, distributors and agents, the rules in force at those outlets apply.
Rules for guarantee services of defective goods
Confirmation of the right to guarantee services is (1) a properly completed guarantee certificate and (2) a document confirming payment for the goods.
The guarantee certificate must specify: model, serial number (if any), guaranty period, and purchase date.
Different rules for guarantee services apply to different types of goods; the rules are expressly stated in the guarantee certificate for each product.
Please keep the guarantee certificate for the entire life of the goods.
Return of defective goods (with major deficiencies)
If the goods have major deficiencies, the goods can be exchanged or returned subject to expert evidence of our service center that the operating conditions have not been violated.
